Conventional mill operator • Crawford County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
