Steel fixer wanted in Chemung County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Chemung County, New York. The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
