Machinist — Nelson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Nelson County, Kentucky. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
