Panel welder — Staffordshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Staffordshire, England. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
