Fabrication workshop technician • Boundary County, Idaho

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Boundary County, Idaho. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. You will take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
