Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
