Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Callahan County, Texas. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Your main tasks: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
