Tailor machinist wanted in Putnam County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Putnam County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
