Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Alleghany County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
