Refrigeration installation technician — Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day to day you will check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
