Automotive paint technician wanted in San Patricio County

Join our team: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in San Patricio County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns On a typical shift you will strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
