Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolder in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang On the job you will handle: • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
