Domestic gas engineer wanted in Christian County

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Christian County, Illinois. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
