Join our team: port container crane operator (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Roseau County, Minnesota. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Six days a week, one day off.
