Offshore rigger wanted in Amador County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Amador County, California. You will work at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
