Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. The job is on a lift modernisation project. You will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time with occasional weekends.
