Semi-automatic welder wanted in City of Hopewell

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in City of Hopewell, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Rotating shifts.
