Pipe tig welder — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Montgomery County, Ohio. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
