We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Jasper County, Indiana. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
