Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hardin County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
