Urgent requirement: concrete pump mate (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Charlevoix County, Michigan. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred.
