Now hiring: truck driver (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Nelson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. Requirements: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
