Foundry worker • Ekiti South-West, Ekiti State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Ekiti South-West, Ekiti State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
