Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in San Benito County, California. On the job you will handle: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Full-time, day shift.
