Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The job is in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
