Metal caster wanted in Calabar South

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Calabar South, Cross River State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges ₦75,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
