Great opportunity: production welder (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Henry County, Missouri. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
