Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Dakota County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
