Argon welder — Victoria County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Victoria County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
