Immediate opening: tig welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Whitley County, Kentucky. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
