Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Montgomery County, Iowa. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
