Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lee County, Virginia. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
