Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Worcester County, Maryland. The role involves check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 4+ years on the tools preferred.
