Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Marengo County, Alabama. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
