Tyre service technician — Southampton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Southampton County, Virginia. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Day-to-day duties: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Awareness of workshop health and safety Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
