Urgent requirement: site carpenter (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in City and County of San Francisco, California. You will work at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
