Gas appliance installer wanted in Torrance County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Torrance County, New Mexico. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
