Natural gas fitter — Yalobusha County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. You will work in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites The role involves run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
