Now hiring: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Magama, Niger State. The job is on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Six days a week, one day off.
