Sand plant operator wanted in Borough of Rochdale

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Borough of Rochdale, England. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings We offer £1,950 per month plus benefits.
