Elevator service technician wanted in Saint Bernard Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 5+ years on the tools preferred.
