Concrete placer wanted in Polk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Polk County, Minnesota. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE You will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
