Vacancy available: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Davison County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Ideal candidate: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Own brushes and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
