Lift maintenance fitter — Katsina-Ala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Katsina-Ala, Benue State. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
