Tube and fitting scaffolder — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Jackson County, Missouri. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
