We are recruiting: we are hiring an insulation worker in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will work at a busy building site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Willing to travel between sites The role involves: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Six days a week, one day off.
