Immediate opening: concrete worker (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Coffey County, Kansas. The job is in a residential housing project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
