Gtaw welder — Kinney County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kinney County, Texas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
