Immediate opening: argon welder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Christian County, Illinois. You will work on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
