Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Wayne County, Indiana. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
